Applying for a Grant

Information for applicants 

If you are applying for a grant under the Local Charity or Local Church category, and you are not based in Swansea or immediate area, we will only consider your application if you demonstrate a strong local involvement detailing, for example, the number of people you are currently assisting in Swansea area.

The trustees of the Austin Bailey Foundation normally meet in April, September and December. The exact date of the next meeting is displayed on the home page and the deadline for applications is
one month before.

If you are applying under International Charity category, you must be registered UK charity operating in the developing world. We receive high volumes of Overseas applications and normally have to put a stop on further applications before the meetings in April, September and December. The exact date of the next meeting is displayed on the home page and the deadline for applications is two months before

When applying for a grant please use the downloadable application form and email it, along with appropriate attachments, to the relevant administration office. All applications must be submitted by email with the downloadable application form. Applications not submitted this way will not be considered.

We strongly recommend you read the FAQ section and also Guidelines for Applicants before applying. The Trust deed gives the right to vary the scope of the Trust's operations to the Trustees.

The Trustees endeavour to remain faithful to the founders' original purposes for the Foundation and their decisions on distributions will be final.
